Stop the Wall “has been the main national grassroots body mobilizing and organizing the collective efforts against the Apartheid Wall..” The NGO falsely accuses Israel of “collective punishment,” “repression,” “restricting movement,” “water theft,” and a “ghettoization project.”
Rights Forum is a Dutch organization, established by former Dutch Prime Minister Andreas van Agt, which describes itself as a “knowledge center on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and as a network of previous ministers and jurists that are committed to a solution of the conflict based on international law.” Claims that it was created in response to alleged “unwavering” Dutch support for alleged Israeli violations of international law. It lobbies the Dutch government and the EU to promote the Palestinian agenda.
Al-Marsad accuses Israel of the “forcible transfer” of native Syrians from their homes in the Golan and calls for “ending the occupation of Palestinian and Syrian territories occupied in 1967, in accordance with international law and resolutions.”
On October 27, 2022, the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) “Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and in Israel” (COI) presented its second report at the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly.
On June 7, 2022, the UN Human Rights Council “Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and in Israel” (COI) published its first report. As expected, this initial report perpetuates outright falsehoods, and relies on information provided by terror-linked and anti-Israel NGOs to previous UN bodies. This is consistent with the COI’s prejudicial mandate and the bias of commission members.
NGO Monitor submitted an analysis to the US State Department of several key dimensions related to this issue in 2021, highlighting the extreme ideological positions and methodological failures that define NGO reporting on Israel.
NGOs often assert claims regarding water allocation in their political campaigns against Israel, often using language such as “water apartheid” or “domination” calibrated to invoke the International Criminal Court’s Rome Statute.
On September 23, 2021, OHCHR issued a report on “The allocation of water resources in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.” The document is based solely on Palestinian Authority, UN, and NGO sources pushing a Palestinian narrative that politicizes water in order to further the PA’s nationalistic strategic aims.
