HRDF has funded “legal aid and defense to HRDs who face different forms of legal persecution” including “Israeli and Palestinian HRDs who participate in nonviolent protests against the Israeli occupation in the West-Bank; HRDs fighting for the rights of indigenous Bedouins in the Negev/Naqab desert in Israel; HRDs fighting for LGBTQ rights; Israelis of Ethiopian origin faced with police brutality and racism; and many more.”
NLG maintains a “Palestine Subcommittee” that “advocates for justice in Palestine, organizes delegations, provides legal support to Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movements, works to support Palestinian political prisoners, and works to implement Palestinian rights.”
PcD is a Spanish organization that is funded by the Spanish government and is active in the Arab-Israeli conflict.
The Culture and Free Thought Association regularly places sole blame on Israel for conflicts in Gaza, including referring to the 2014 war as “Israel’s War on Gaza.”
Although La Cimade claims that it acts in “the framework of peace construction,” its activities include support for BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanctions) campaigns against Israel and other delegitimization efforts.
Engages in a wide variety of politicized activities both within Canada and abroad, promoting views that are critical of Israel, while downplaying Palestinian terrorism and human rights abuses.
• HRC’s mission is to “preserve Hebron as an historical Arab Palestinian town, in order to safeguard its cultural and architectural heritage against the threat of a takeover by extremist Israeli settlers.” HRC rhetoric includes accusing Israel of “apartheid,” “ethnic cleansing,” “genocide,” and “collective punishment.”
Oxfam Novib is the Dutch affiliate of Oxfam international, an “international confederation of 17 organizations networked together in 92 countries.” Within the Oxfam umbrella, Oxfam Novib plays a leading role on the Arab-Israeli conflict, including demonization and other anti-Israel campaigns.
On February 20, 2022, over 100 European and international NGOs, self-proclaimed grassroots movements, and politicized trade unions launched a BDS campaign headlined “#StopTradeWithSettlements."
