Candidates for the UN Special Rapporteur for the Palestinians, Biased Candidates for a Biased Mandate
In March 2022, the Human Rights Council will appoint a new Special Rapporteur on the “situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967.” In keeping with past practices, at least five of the six candidates have records of anti-Israel partisanship, and do not appear to fulfill the requirements of impartiality and objectivity as required by HRC resolution 5/1.

Since 2003, Tree of Life has organized trips to Israel and the West Bank. Participants of the tours meet with members of highly politicized NGOs. Upon completion of the program, the participants return to their home countries where many engage in anti-Israel advocacy, including advocating for BDS campaigns and asking to “stop sending billions of dollars worth of weapons to Israel.”

LDH supports BDS campaigns against Israel. LdH claims that “it supports the boycott of products from the occupied territories…it supports divestment and sanctions against Israel…it has campaigned against the economic agreement between the EU and Israel, [but it] does not support the boycott of the Israelis (university boycott, cultural, artistic, scientific) except if it is specifically argued (field of weapons for example).”

Union of Agricultural Work Committees' Ties to the PFLP Terror Group
Numerous UAWC staff members, founders, board members, general assembly members, and senior staff members have ties to the PFLP terror group. UAWC is identified by Fatah as an official Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) “affiliate” and by a USAID-engaged audit as the “agricultural arm” of the PFLP. According to academic scholar Glenn E. Robinson, UAWC was founded in 1986 by “agronomists loosely affiliated with the PFLP.”

“Gaza is Palestine”: NGOs and Rep. Tlaib Push BDS
On October 7, 2021, the “Gaza is Palestine” campaign will host a virtual event featuring Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and a number of BDS activists. These include individuals who have celebrated violence against Israelis. The campaign seeks to halt US military assistance to Israel and is spearheaded by pro-BDS NGOs.
