Church of Sweden is an Evangelical-Lutheran community that promotes settlement goods labeling and supports the “World Week of Peace in Palestine Israel,” organized by the World Council of Churches, which calls for “advocacy and action in support of an end to the illegal occupation of Palestine.”
Regularly accuses Israel of “Judaization”; refers to Israel as “1948 areas” or “Palestine 1948” and to cities in Israel as “1948 occupied cities”; labels the security barrier as the “Apartheid Wall.”
Headquartered in Rome, with offices in Geneva and New York, Caritas Internationalis serves as an umbrella organization that coordinates and supports member activities, provides a platform for interaction between the Vatican and member organizations, but allows individual Caritas members to implement activities in their areas of interest and influence.
NLG maintains a “Palestine Subcommittee” that “advocates for justice in Palestine, organizes delegations, provides legal support to Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movements, works to support Palestinian political prisoners, and works to implement Palestinian rights.”
PcD is a Spanish organization that is funded by the Spanish government and is active in the Arab-Israeli conflict.
The Culture and Free Thought Association regularly places sole blame on Israel for conflicts in Gaza, including referring to the 2014 war as “Israel’s War on Gaza.”
IFPB sends “3 – 4 delegations to Israel/Palestine every year,” claiming to expose the “everyday violence of war and occupation” and promotes BDS including calling to “End US Military Aid to Israel.”
YMCA rhetoric includes accusations of “apartheid,” “collective punishment,” and “war crimes,” as well as supporting a Palestinian “right of return.”
AIDA engages in international advocacy by acting as “a collective voice of its members and representing their interests to key decision makers.” As a result, policy makers often rely on AIDA’s inaccurate and unverifiable claims without consulting a variety of sources or Israeli perspectives.
