The World Council of Churches, a collective of 347 churches, denominations and church fellowships in more than 110 countries and territories, has established several highly biased and politicized subgroups, including Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI), Palestine Israel Ecumenical Forum (PIEF), and the Jerusalem Interchurch Centre (JIC).
PARC’s rhetoric includes accusations of “apartheid,” “collective punishment,” “ethnic cleansing,” and “war crimes.”
While claiming to “allow each side to understand the other’s narrative,” Combatants for Peace activities reflect a strong affiliation with the Palestinian agenda and narrative, placing most of the blame for the conflict on “the occupation.”
In contrast to its stated objectives of working toward “peace” and “coexistence,” members include a number of highly biased and politicized NGOs that promote agendas based solely on the Palestinian narrative of victimization, while altogether omitting Israeli perspectives.
HRDF has funded “legal aid and defense to HRDs who face different forms of legal persecution” including “Israeli and Palestinian HRDs who participate in nonviolent protests against the Israeli occupation in the West-Bank; HRDs fighting for the rights of indigenous Bedouins in the Negev/Naqab desert in Israel; HRDs fighting for LGBTQ rights; Israelis of Ethiopian origin faced with police brutality and racism; and many more.”
Al-Marsad accuses Israel of the “forcible transfer” of native Syrians from their homes in the Golan and calls for “ending the occupation of Palestinian and Syrian territories occupied in 1967, in accordance with international law and resolutions.”
Adalah-NY is a fringe organization that operates in the New York area. It is one of the most vocal proponents of anti-Israel BDS (boycotts, divestment, and sanctions) campaigns in the U.S., most commonly in the form of small protests.
Supports BDS (boycotts, divestment, and sanctions) campaigns against Israel, despite the fact that such boycotts are illegal under French law. UJFP states that “this campaign is characterized in several axes: boycotts (economic, athletic, trade-union, cultural, and academic), divestment, sanctions (political, economic and judicial).”
Palestina Solidariteit works as an “independent volunteer movement that fights for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people on the basis of the implementation of UN resolution, International law, respect for human rights and democracy, and for a just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”
