- Two former members of the LDH executive committee (Antoine Spire and Cedric Porin) explain why they left the organization, which was founded in 1896 to defend Alfred Dreyfus
- Antoine Spire is the Editorial Advisor to Le Monde de l’Education.
- The authors provide numerous examples of bias and failure to speak out against human rights violations, including an anti-Israel policy.
- They charge LDH with one-sided condemnations of Israel, “but forgot that the Israeli civilian victims of bombardment”. They also criticize the LDH for “saying almost anything concerning Darfur or Chetchnia, and keeps silent in face of the anti-semitic speeches and Holocuast denial of the Iranian president!”
