Swiss Parliament debates NGO Funding and links to BDS following meeting with Prof. Steinberg
As reported on April 29 in Swiss newspaper Tages Anzeiger, member of the Parliament Christian Imark submitted a motion signed by 41 MPs (out of 200 members of the parliament) asking the government to adjust the regulations through which Swiss tax payer’s money is being directly and indirectly distributed as Swiss development aid so that NGOs that support racist, anti-Semitic, and hate activities as well as BDS campaigns cannot receive funds.
The article further states that this motion is a direct result of Professor Steinberg’s visit to Bern on March 15th.
