[Excerpt:]

"Groups such as Oxfam, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and others would have you believe that Israel has plundered the depths of depravity unlike any other country on earth. All have erroneously pronounced Israel guilty of war crimes, collective punishment and similarly grave offences. Other countries are rarely accused of such misdemeanours. Less so are they subject to hysterical calls for a boycott. The boycotters use every imaginable avenue to promote their policy of isolation. Oxfam’s hostility towards Israel extends to the recent reported censure of a celebrity spokeswoman, Sex and the City’s Kristin Davis, over her endorsement of Israeli cosmetics firm Ahava, which has a presence in the West Bank. Meanwhile, several months ago, Amnesty effectively campaigned to remove Israel’s right of self-defence by recommending banning all arms sales to Israel, including ammunition. Amnesty singled out Israel from among the family of nations as unfit to possess arms. In addition, HRW has attempted to brand Israel as persona non grata in the corporate world by endorsing a campaign against Caterpillar because of the company’s sales to Israel. Beyond these well-known groups stands a plethora of NGOs central to a formal network dedicated to making Israel boycotts part of mainstream political thought. Yet a cursory glance at this campaign shows it to be nothing more than an illogical tactic to promote a radical political agenda."
