Shaun is a Senior Researcher at NGO Monitor, a dynamic speaker, and expert on Northern Europe, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

He has provided expert testimony on NGO funding before parliamentary committees in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, and Denmark, and has presented at conferences  in Norway, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark. His insightful analyses have also been featured in numerous journals and international publications including in the Jerusalem Post and South Africa’s TimesLive. Shaun has appeared on i24News, ILTV, and Ledarsidorna TV, and is a regular expert guest on local radio in his native South Africa.

After a hiatus following the October 7 massacre, Shaun is back hosting “Discuss Israel,” a podcast where he delves into pressing issues in Israel, offering thought-provoking commentary and in-depth discussions.
