NGOs Against Peace in the Middle East

On September 15, 2020, Israel signed separate historic agreements with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain, establishing formal diplomatic relations and recognition between the countries. Following the announcement of the UAE agreement in August, a number of NGOs, which purport to promote universal human rights, have decried and condemned the contribution to peace.

PFLP: Arrested NGO Official is a "Hero" and a "Commander"

While a number of UAWC supporters have attempted to cast doubt on Samer Arbid's membership in the PFLP terror group and involvement in the August 2019 attack, on August 30, 2020, the PFLP issued a condolence note in memory of Arbid's mother, referring to Arbid a "prisoner and commander," and "one of the heroes of the Bubeen operation" -- referring to the August 2019 bombing.

Analysis of UAWC’s Response to the Dutch Funding Freeze over Terror Links

On July 20, 2020, the Dutch government announced that it was suspending funding to the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) over links to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). In response to the Dutch announcement, UAWC issued a statement attempting to deflect the serious allegations.
