WESPAC has been at the center of controversy due to its fiscal sponsorship of disruptive, and at times violent, anti-Israel and antisemitic activities in the aftermath of the Oct. 7th attacks.
On June 23, 2025, the foreign ministers of EU member states are scheduled to consider the status of the EU-Israel Association Agreement, the central framework for trade and political cooperation between the European Union and Israel since 2000.
Instead of condemning Iran’s clear violations of the laws of war (IHL), NGOs have intensified highly partisan calls for arms embargoes against Israel.
NGOs have taken a leading role in Nakba Day events calling for the dismantlement of Zionism and Israel, as well as full arms embargoes against the Jewish state.
NGOs are repeating the accusations that Israel is guilty of even more outrageous and extreme international crimes: genocide and ethnic cleansing.
Many NGOs that claim to promote human rights, humanitarian principles, and international law have condemned Israel for the evacuation warning. This campaign is not only aimed at diverting attention from the barbaric Hamas slaughter of 1,500 Israelis, but also bolsters and enables Hamas.
On October 7, 2023 (which was the Sabbath and a Jewish holiday), hundreds of Palestinian terrorists poured across the border from Gaza into Israel, slaughtering hundreds of Jews, and torturing, maiming, and kidnapping others. In parallel, thousands of rockets were fired at Israeli population centers, sending millions rushing to shelters.
A number of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have been participating in a campaign celebrating and defending Tamimi. Despite the video evidence, they insist that Israel has no grounds for trying and imprisoning her. Although these NGOs claim to promote human rights and the rule of law generally, and protect the rights of children specifically, in Ahed Tamimi’s case they ignore the exploitation and recruitment of children as “soldiers” in a propaganda war against Israel.
