Akevot appears to be an offshoot of two political advocacy Israeli NGOs: Yesh Din and Physicians for Human Rights-Israel (PHR-I), which are highly active in political warfare campaigns against Israel in the international arena.
While claiming to “allow each side to understand the other’s narrative,” Combatants for Peace activities reflect a strong affiliation with the Palestinian agenda and narrative, placing most of the blame for the conflict on “the occupation.”
B'Tselem is an Israeli NGO that actively pursues its political agenda in the Israeli courts and the Knesset.
Rejects the legitimacy of the Jewish state, while attempting to portray it as inherently racist and discriminatory; regularly lobbies the Israeli supreme court and international bodies to adopt its agenda.

Yesh Din attempts to brand Israel as unaccountable to the rule of law as part of a wider “lawfare” strategy of pressing cases against Israeli officials in foreign courts and the ICC, in addition to petitioning the Israeli High Court of Justice to alter Israeli policy. These claims are based on oft-cited misleading statistics.
UK government documents reveal that Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) officials were aware of Hamas involvement and the significant diversion risks in Gaza cash-assistance programs. Yet, the FCDO pressed ahead providing millions of pounds in funding to such a mechanism.
Promotes a one-sided approach to the conflict, placing sole blame for the failure of the peace process on Israel. The complexities of the situation in Jerusalem – including illegal building and crime in Palestinian neighborhoods, damage to the Temple Mount as a result of illegal digging by the Waqf, and incitement to violence against Jews by extremist clerics – are erased.
