Nine months after the brutal October 7 atrocities were displayed live on social media and celebrated, no one should be fooled by this token report or give it any credence. As documented by NGO Monitor, Human Rights Watch has repeatedly demonized Israel through the blood libels of genocide, apartheid, starvation and war crimes, while erasing the victims. Now, in a pseudo research report, HRW cynically seeks to exploit these immense tragedies to falsely claim “balance,” following the PR strategy based on tokenism as used for 20 years. Danielle Haas, a senior editor at HRW for 13 years, referred to the NGO’s deeply embedded antisemitism, including HRW’s first response after October 7th, invoking “the ‘context’ of ‘apartheid’ and ‘occupation’ before blood was even dry on bedroom walls…. This was the fruition of years of politicization…that has frequently violated basic editorial standards related to rigor, balance, and collegiality when it comes to Israel.” This publication does not change this travesty.
